A Boomer and a Gen Z shopper can buy the same supplement for completely opposite reasons. Walk any health aisle, or scroll any health feed and you're selling to four generations at once. Same product, four
different definitions of "trust." Boomers tend to want authority: the credential, the pharmacist, the study. Show your working. Gen X wants proof it fits a busy life without drama. Does it do what it says, and can I get on with my day? Millennials look for values and transparency. What's in it, who made it, and do I believe them? Gen Z often trusts people over institutions. A real person's honest experience can outweigh a brochure, but they'll spot a fake endorsement instantly. The mistake is picking one voice and blasting it everywhere. The fix isn't four different products. It's the same honest core message, translated into four different proofs of trust. As has been the case for generations, marketers need to learn to speak to how each generation actually decides. Which generation do you find hardest to reach with health messaging, and what's actually worked for you? #HealthMarketing #ConsumerHealth #Marketing
